An aviation-themed camping site situated in the ecological and high-tech new town of Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, was opened to the public on Aug 19.
A representative of the camping site said the 6,000-square-meter site consists of five areas – a dining hall, a cafe, a team building area, a hot air balloon experience area and a camping area.
He added that the campsite will hold a series of activities related to aviation and hot air balloons in the coming weeks.
The aviation industry is an important part of the city's advanced manufacturing sector, said a local official.
The Yangzhou Aviation Museum, which was opened in 2020 and is located near the campsite, is the first aviation complex in China.
