SAR, a marque of Great Wall Motors, is showcasing the family of four mecha models at the ongoing Chengdu auto show.
One of them is the Mecha Dragon, which was first shown at the Guangzhou auto show in late 2021.
SAR offered more details about the model. Among other things, it will feature four pieces of lidar, the smart all-wheel drive system, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system, as well as a 25-inch head-up display.
The marque said the dual electric motors coupled with the smart all-wheel drive system enable the model to accelerate from zero to 100 km/hour in around 3 seconds.
The lidar, another 28 sensors and the two high-performance computing platforms combined provide a class-leading driving-assist functions.
SAR also showed a Mecha Dragon co-branded by Neon Genesis Evangelion, a Japanese mecha anime television series.
