Welcome back! The original children’s opera Avanti was restaged at the National Center for the Performing Arts on Aug 25, as part of the ongoing NCPA Children Drama Season. With expanded orchestra, the production provided a wonderful theatrical experience for the audience.
The production is inspired by stories of Nasreddin, a fictional character in the folklore of the Muslim world from the Balkans to China, who is known for his wit and subtle humor.
