Eager for talent, Xi'an launches job fair for overseas returnees

The 6th Xi'an Job Fair for Overseas Returnees was launched in Qujiang New District in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on July 21.

During the three-day event, a series of activities, including speeches by overseas returnees and job fairs, will be held.

At the launch ceremony, the Xi'an recruitment workstations were unveiled, and a new batch of Xi'an recruitment ambassadors and Xi'an campus talent recruitment special ambassadors were awarded certificates.

Outstanding examples of innovation and entrepreneurship in Xi'an and talent who have returned from studying abroad in related industries also shared their stories, experiences and insights.

On July 23, the 2022 Xi'an special job fair for overseas returnees, master's degree holders and doctorate holders will be held. More than 50 companies and institutions will participate in the job fair, providing over 300 job positions in the fields of materials and chemicals, energy and power, automobiles, electronic technology, biology, and finance.

To meet the job-seeking needs of various overseas returnees, the 2022 Xi'an online job fair for overseas returnees will be held from July 23 to 29 through Zhilian Recruitment, one of China's biggest recruitment websites.

So far, more than 140 companies have registered for the online job fair, providing more than 800 jobs of various types for over 1,300 jobseekers.

Those who are unable to participate in person can check information about the job fair by logging on to Zhilian Recruitment. People can also submit resumes and receive job consultations online.
