GWM' Poer marque to launch high-end pickup

Poer, the pickup marque of Great Wall Motors, is to launch a high-end pickup at the Chengdu auto show, which is scheduled to kick off on Aug 26.
It is a large-sized high-performance premium pickup model, said the carmaker on Thursday. The company is inviting fans and customers to give the model a name.
The model will feature a 3.0-liter engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Other details remain unknown.
Poer said its first showroom for high-end pickups will be opened in Chengdu, Sichuan province, on Aug 25.
The information was released when Poer celebrated its 3rd anniversary on Wednesday.
Established in 2019, Poer is one of the most successful pickup marques in China. It has sold over 300,000 vehicles so far.
Its vehicles are not only available in China but also some 50 countries around the world, said the company.
