SAIC Motor's MG brand unveiled its black logo on Wednesday, which it said is its latest step to appeal to the young customers.
Also at the event, the first model bearing a black logo made its global premiere.
The MG7 sedan sports SAIC's latest powertrain of a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Its maximum output reaches 192 kW and a top torque of 405 Nm.
The model can accelerate from zero to 100 km/hour in 6.5 seconds, and its fuel consumption per 100 km stands at 6.2 liters.
Inside the cabin, it features a segment-leading 33-inch display. It also features the Qualcomm 8155 chip and the augmented reality head-up display, which is the first in its segment.
