"As I was inspired by the theme of this exhibition, I created this album by getting each of the participating artists to send me a childhood photo of themselves. I then put all these images in one album so that it looks like one person," said Zheng.
"It seems as if we share a common memory of the past 30 years, and I invite everyone to come to sit in this comfortable living room and have a look at the growing-up process of this person," she added.
Jointly held by the Korean Cultural Center in Shanghai, the Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Shanghai International Culture Association, the exhibition is located at Bund 18 Art Space and runs through Aug 28.
