Xia Tian, the Chinese curator of the exhibition, said the process of scouting for the 30 artists and discussing this topic with his Korean counterparts proved to be a memorable cultural exchange.
"Getting to know these Korean young artists was quite interesting for me," Xia said. "I found both Chinese and Korean artists at this age do not have a certain style, and are all boldly exploring different possibilities."
Divided into three sections, the exhibition features 30 artworks that include paintings, photographs, installations, and videos.
Shanghai-based artist Zheng Yiran created the installation Living Room just for the exhibition. One of the objects within this installation that drew the attention of many visitors is a photo album.
