China's top 10 automobile companies sold 8.19 million vehicles in the first five months of the year, accounting for 85.7 percent of total automobile sales.
SAIC Motor sold the most automobiles during this period, followed by Dongfeng Motor Corporation and FAW Group.
Compared with the same period last year, BYD witnessed the fastest growth and GAC Group and Chery Automobile showed slight growth.
