Yixing environmental protection industry seeks overseas expansion

The Yixing Environmental Protection Industry International Cooperation Meeting was recently held in Yixing, a county-level city administered by Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province.

During the meeting, 38 environmental protection enterprises in the city established the Yixing Environmental Protection Enterprises International Alliance to cooperate on international expansion.

The Yixing municipal bureau of commerce also set up six overseas environmental protection industry development liaison offices to invite institutions with a wide range of resources to work as overseas advisers for the offices.

The bureau also distributed its guidebook about cooperation on environmental protection with countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative to participants at the meeting.

In addition, the Yixing municipal bureau of commerce signed cooperation agreements on environmental protection with the Nanjing representative office of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Eastern Netherlands Development Agency.
