On July 26, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 120 new cases of confirmed infections (41 imported cases, 18 in Guangdong province, 10 in Fujian province, 7 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Sichuan province, 1 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Liaoning province, 1 in Shandong province and 1 in Shaanxi province, including 4 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 2 in Sichuan province, 1 in Tianjin municipality and 1 in Guangdong province; 79 indigenous cases, 33 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 19 in Sichuan province, 15 in Gansu province, 3 in Guangdong province, 3 in Chongqing municipality, 2 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Jiangxi province, 1 in Shandong province and 1 in Henan province, including 51 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 20 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 15 in Sichuan province, 12 in Gansu province, 2 in Guangdong province and 2 in Chongqing municipality), no deaths, and 1 new case of suspected infections (an imported case in Shanghai municipality).

On July 26, 130 patients were released from hospital after being cured (37 imported cases; 93 indigenous cases, 37 in Gansu province, 13 in Guangdong province, 12 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 9 in Anhui province, 6 in Hainan province, 5 in Shanghai municipality, 3 in Fujian province, 3 in Jiangxi province, 1 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 1 in Jiangsu province, 1 in Zhejiang province and 1 in Guizhou province). 10,283 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases increased by 1.

As of 24:00 on July 26, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 20,500 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 19,964 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 536 confirmed cases (no serious cases) and 1 suspected case.

As of 24:00 on July 26, the National Health Commission had received reports of 229,066 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 222,044 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,796 confirmed cases (23 cases in serious condition) and 1 suspected case. 4,593,141 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 122,482 were still under medical observation.

On July 26, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 583 new asymptomatic cases (58 imported cases; 525 indigenous cases, 236 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 219 in Gansu province, 20 in Shandong province, 14 in Shanghai municipality, 9 in Sichuan province, 7 in Henan province, 5 in Jiangxi province, 4 in Hubei province, 4 in Guangdong province, 2 in Anhui province, 2 in Yunnan province, 1 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Jiangsu province and 1 in Zhejiang province).

On July 26, 303 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (30 imported cases; 273 indigenous cases, 72 in Anhui province, 59 in Gansu province, 33 in Henan province, 24 in Shandong province, 20 in Shanghai municipality, 20 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 13 in Guangdong province, 11 in Jiangsu province, 8 in Fujian province, 8 in Jiangxi province, 2 in Zhejiang province, 1 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Hainan province and 1 in Qinghai province). 55 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 4 imported cases). As of 24:00 on July 26, 7,197 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 522 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on July 26, 4,825,474 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 351,931 in Hong Kong (9,478 had died and 66,894 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 788 in Macao (6 had died and 520 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 4,472,755 in Taiwan (8,686 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
