On July 25, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 148 new cases of confirmed infections (50 imported cases, 19 in Guangdong province, 11 in Fujian province, 6 in Sichuan province, 3 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Beijing municipality, 2 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Shandong province, 1 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Liaoning province, 1 in Hubei province, 1 in Chongqing municipality and 1 in Shaanxi province, including 14 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 3 in Zhejiang province, 3 in Guangdong province, 3 in Sichuan province, 2 in Fujian province, 2 in Shandong province and 1 in Tianjin municipality; 98 indigenous cases, 37 in Gansu province, 32 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 16 in Sichuan province, 6 in Guangdong province, 4 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Chongqing municipality and 1 in Shandong province, including 32 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 17 in Gansu province, 9 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 5 in Sichuan province and 1 in Guangdong province), no deaths, and no new cases of suspected infections.
On July 25, 118 patients were released from hospital after being cured (42 imported cases; 76 indigenous cases, 23 in Guangdong province, 14 in Gansu province, 12 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 7 in Shanghai municipality, 6 in Shandong province, 2 in Jiangsu province, 2 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Anhui province, 2 in Fujian province, 2 in Hainan province, 1 in Heilongjiang province, 1 in Jiangxi province, 1 in Henan province and 1 in Chongqing municipality). 13,754 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases decreased by 2.
As of 24:00 on July 25, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 20,459 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 19,927 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 532 confirmed cases (no serious cases) and no suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on July 25, the National Health Commission had received reports of 228,946 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 221,914 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,806 confirmed cases (22 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 4,576,183 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 115,824 were still under medical observation.

On July 25, 283 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (40 imported cases; 243 indigenous cases, 46 in Anhui province, 45 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 33 in Shandong province, 31 in Gansu province, 22 in Jiangsu province, 18 in Shanghai municipality, 13 in Fujian province, 12 in Guangdong province, 10 in Henan province, 6 in Jiangxi province, 4 in Tianjin municipality and 3 in Zhejiang province). 46 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 14 imported cases). As of 24:00 on July 25, 6,972 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 498 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on July 25, 4,799,685 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 351,191 in Hong Kong (9,472 had died and 66,748 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 787 in Macao (6 had died and 489 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 4,447,707 in Taiwan (8,649 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
