Chinese carmaker Great Wall Motor's upscale Wey brand launched its plug-in hybrid Latte DHT SUV on Monday.
The model, available in three variants, is priced from 229,000 yuan to 263,000 yuan. The carmaker said it is tailored for family users.
The Latte DHT SUV sports a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. The four-wheel-drive version has a maximum output of 321 kW and a top torque of 762 Nm, racing from zero to 100 km/hour in 5.2 seconds. Its fuel consumption stands at 5.4 liters per 100 km.
The two-wheel-drive version generates a maximum output of 240 kW and a top torque of 530 Nm. It can travel up to 182 km on electric mode and its fuel consumption stands at 6.2 liters per 100 km.
The model has 27 sensors to enable its driving-assist functions including automatic parking and lane changing on expressways.
In terms of onboard functions, the model features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, as well as a 14.6-inch console display, a 9.2-inch liquid crystal dashboard, a 9-inch touchscreen display and an augmented reality head-up display.
