On July 24, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 150 new cases of confirmed infections (49 imported cases, 19 in Guangdong province, 7 in Shanghai municipality, 6 in Fujian province, 6 in Sichuan province, 4 in Beijing municipality, 2 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Liaoning province, 1 in Jiangsu province, 1 in Shandong province and 1 in Shaanxi province, including 11 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 6 in Sichuan province, 2 in Guangdong province, 1 in Beijing municipality, 1 in Liaoning province and 1 in Shandong province; 101 indigenous cases, 34 in Sichuan province, 24 in Gansu province, 22 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 11 in Guangdong province, 3 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Anhui province, 2 in Shandong province, 2 in Henan province and 1 in Beijing municipality, including 39 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 19 in Sichuan province, 14 in Gansu province, 4 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 1 in Anhui province and 1 in Guangdong province), no deaths, and no new cases of suspected infections.

On July 24, 131 patients were released from hospital after being cured (54 imported cases; 77 indigenous cases, 19 in Guangdong province, 16 in Anhui province, 12 in Gansu province, 9 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 7 in Shanghai municipality, 4 in Henan province, 2 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 2 in Jiangsu province, 2 in Hainan province, 1 in Fujian province and 1 in Jiangxi province). 11,619 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases increased by 4.

As of 24:00 on July 24, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 20,409 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 19,885 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 524 confirmed cases (no serious cases) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on July 24, the National Health Commission had received reports of 228,798 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 221,796 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,776 confirmed cases (24 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 4,562,477 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 115,899 were still under medical observation.

On July 24, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 650 new asymptomatic cases (71 imported cases; 579 indigenous cases, 284 in Gansu province, 210 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 15 in Shanghai municipality, 13 in Henan province, 13 in Guangdong province, 11 in Shandong province, 11 in Sichuan province, 9 in Yunnan province, 4 in Tianjin municipality, 3 in Anhui province, 3 in Jiangxi province, 1 in Jiangsu province, 1 in Chongqing municipality and 1 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region).

On July 24, 415 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (31 imported cases; 384 indigenous cases, 113 in Henan province, 110 in Anhui province, 46 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 38 in Gansu province, 23 in Shanghai municipality, 20 in Jiangsu province, 13 in Fujian province, 10 in Jiangxi province, 8 in Guangdong province, 2 in Liaoning province and 1 in Hainan province). 50 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 11 imported cases). As of 24:00 on July 24, 6,473 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 494 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on July 24, 4,781,868 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 350,500 in Hong Kong (9,469 had died and 66,625 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 785 in Macao (6 had died and 445 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 4,430,583 in Taiwan (8,596 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
