On July 19, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 150 new cases of confirmed infections (42 imported cases, 17 in Guangdong province, 6 in Fujian province, 5 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Beijing municipality, 2 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Jiangxi province, 2 in Sichuan province, 1 in Liaoning province, 1 in Jiangsu province, 1 in Zhejiang province, 1 in Shandong province, 1 in Chongqing municipality and 1 in Shaanxi province, including 4 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 3 in Guangdong province and 1 in Liaoning province; 108 indigenous cases, 47 in Gansu province, 21 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 20 in Guangdong province, 7 in Sichuan province, 5 in Shanghai municipality, 4 in Anhui province, 3 in Jiangxi province and 1 in Beijing municipality, including 29 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 22 in Gansu province, 5 in Sichuan province, 1 in Beijing municipality and 1 in Guangdong province), no deaths, and no new cases of suspected infections.

On July 19, 91 patients were released from hospital after being cured (31 imported cases; 60 indigenous cases, 19 in Anhui province, 16 in Shanghai municipality, 6 in Gansu province, 5 in Guangdong province, 4 in Jiangsu province, 3 in Beijing municipality, 2 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 2 in Shaanxi province, 1 in Shandong province, 1 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and 1 in Sichuan province). 12,298 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases remained the same.

As of 24:00 on July 19, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 20,161 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 19,680 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 481 confirmed cases (no serious cases) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on July 19, the National Health Commission had received reports of 227,980 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 221,270 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,484 confirmed cases (1 case in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 4,481,672 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 103,176 were still under medical observation.

On July 19, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 862 new asymptomatic cases (35 imported cases; 827 indigenous cases, 306 in Gansu province, 256 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 127 in Henan province, 79 in Anhui province, 14 in Tianjin municipality, 10 in Shanghai municipality, 8 in Jilin province, 8 in Guangdong province, 7 in Jiangxi province, 7 in Sichuan province, 3 in Yunnan province, 1 in Jiangsu province and 1 in Hunan province).

On July 19, 253 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (25 imported cases; 228 indigenous cases, 88 in Anhui province, 36 in Shanghai municipality, 35 in Jiangsu province, 27 in Shandong province, 15 in Gansu province, 11 in Henan province, 8 in Fujian province, 4 in Guangdong province, 2 in Hainan province, 1 in Sichuan province and 1 in Shaanxi province). 33 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 4 imported cases). As of 24:00 on July 19, 4,611 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 389 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on July 19, 4,657,788 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 347,122 in Hong Kong (9,444 had died and 65,927 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 762 in Macao (5 had died and 267 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 4,309,904 in Taiwan (8,261 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
