On July 15, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 129 new cases of confirmed infections (54 imported cases, 11 in Zhejiang province, 10 in Guangdong province, 8 in Tianjin municipality, 7 in Fujian province, 6 in Shanghai municipality, 3 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 2 in Beijing municipality, 2 in Jiangsu province, 2 in Hunan province, 1 in Liaoning province, 1 in Hubei province and 1 in Yunnan province, including 9 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 3 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Guangdong province, 1 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 1 in Liaoning province and 1 in Fujian province; 75 indigenous cases, 31 in Gansu province, 16 in Anhui province, 15 in Guangdong province, 5 in Shanghai municipality, 5 in Hainan province, 1 in Jiangsu province, 1 in Henan province and 1 in Sichuan province, including 16 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 10 in Guangdong province, 4 in Hainan province, 1 in Henan province and 1 in Gansu province), no deaths, and no new cases of suspected infections.

On July 15, 99 patients were released from hospital after being cured (44 imported cases; 55 indigenous cases, 40 in Anhui province, 4 in Shanghai municipality, 4 in Jiangsu province, 2 in Fujian province, 2 in Shaanxi province, 1 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Shandong province and 1 in Guangdong province). 13,286 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases remained the same.

As of 24:00 on July 15, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 19,983 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 19,524 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 459 confirmed cases (no serious cases) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on July 15, the National Health Commission had received reports of 227,272 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 220,877 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,169 confirmed cases (1 case in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 4,424,245 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 122,871 were still under medical observation.

On July 15, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 418 new asymptomatic cases (43 imported cases; 375 indigenous cases, 139 in Anhui province, 82 in Gansu province, 40 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 39 in Henan province, 28 in Shanghai municipality, 26 in Guangdong province, 6 in Shandong province, 4 in Jiangsu province, 4 in Jiangxi province, 3 in Jilin province, 1 in Fujian province, 1 in Hainan province, 1 in Chongqing municipality and 1 in Qinghai province).

On July 15, 272 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (34 imported cases; 238 indigenous cases, 142 in Anhui province, 64 in Jiangsu province, 16 in Shanghai municipality, 3 in Fujian province, 3 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 2 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Liaoning province, 2 in Shandong province, 1 in Hubei province, 1 in Guangdong province, 1 in Yunnan province and 1 in Shaanxi province). 25 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 9 imported cases). As of 24:00 on July 15, 3,457 asymptomatic cases (reduced by 3 after verification in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region) were still under medical observation (including 372 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on July 15, 4,560,650 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 344,739 in Hong Kong (9,432 had died and 65,450 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 711 in Macao (5 had died and 192 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 4,215,200 in Taiwan (8,031 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
