Biopharmaceutical Industry

Dalian has a total of more than 300 biological and 140 pharmaceutical enterprises, of which 90% are located in the Jinpu New Area. At present, Jinpu New Area has more than 50 above-designated-scale biopharmaceutical enterprises, of which nearly 10 enterprises have an annual output value over 100 million yuan. It has formed a biopharmaceutical industrial cluster led by Pfizer, Omron, Zhenao Group and other big companies, with Dalian now becoming one of the three agglomeration areas of Liaoning’s biological industry.
