The Shanghai Pudong Intellectual Property Association and the Lin-gang Special Area Legal Service Center recently signed a strategic agreement – to establish long-term, in-depth cooperation in intellectual property or IP protection, the inter-disciplinary training of IP talent and to advance compliance of regional intellectual property.
The two will join forces to promote breakthroughs and innovation in technology, institutions and services in intellectual property in the Lin-gang Special Area.
They will push for the settlement in Lin-gang of the first Shanghai center for an original certification and protection platform. It is being developed by Intellectual Property Publishing House Co Ltd, the legal publisher of Chinese Patent literature and the unified patent information outward service provider under the State Intellectual Property Office.
The platform will provide a complete supply chain for intellectual property protection services for enterprises, public institutions and people in the area.
In addition, the Lin-gang Special Area will set up a national IP rights training center to train interdisciplinary talent in intellectual property.
