The Lin-gang Special Area in East China's Shanghai city held a news conference on July 7 about landmark projects in its International Collaborative Innovation Zone that are currently under construction and which will lead to the creation of a digital city.
Companies in the International Collaborative Innovation Zone can register to develop their products and solutions there. Shanghai Lingang Sci-Tech City Economic Development Co Ltd – a company charge of developing the zone – will provide test sites and promotions for them.
The projects will include AI projects for the prevention of epidemics, for business and for transport, among other things.
A test center for unmanned automatic cleaning projects will conduct cleaning of intelligent connected vehicles test bases. Its cleaning machines will operate independently, charge independently, avoid obstacles automatically and clean roads, remove dust, as well as carry out watering and sterilization.
The AI business project will use intelligent means to process orders, carry out intelligent deliveries of products and build a fast-track channel between goods and customers.
Smart parking, smart charging, smart energy, smart travel, smart property and other digital scenarios have currently been implemented in the International Collaborative Innovation Zone.
