The Hulunbuir prairie in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region is entering what many say is its most beautiful season, with grasslands turning green with the approach of summer.
In a typical view, more than 1,000 sheep raised in Chen Barga Banner grazed on the prairie — white specks on the vast green plains.
The Hulunbuir prairie in northeastern Inner Mongolia is one of the world's top three grasslands, with an elevation 650 to 700 meters, an area of about 100,000 square kilometers and natural grassland coverage of 80 percent.
