A new flight operated by Xiamen Airlines landed at the Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport on May 23.
Xiamen Airlines will operate two flights from Yangzhou and Taizhou in Jiangsu province to Dalian, Liaoning province, and Changsha, Hunan province.
The flight from Yangzhou to Dalian operates once a day at 10:25 am and costs 370 yuan ($55.15) pre-tax. The flight from Yangzhou to Changsha operates once a day at 3:50 pm and costs 530 yuan pre-tax.
Yangzhou is the ninth city in Jiangsu province to operate Xiamen Airlines flights, meaning all civil airports in the province now offer Xiamen Airlines flights.
Xiamen Airlines, established in 1984, is China's first airline to operate under a modern enterprise system. As of December 2021, Xiamen Airlines had a fleet of 209 aircrafts, currently operating more than 400 domestic and international routes, with annual passenger traffic of nearly 40 million. More than 16 million people have joined the Xiamen Airlines frequent flyer program. Among the more than 270 member airlines of the International Air Transport Association, Xiamen Airlines ranks among the top 30 in terms of revenue and the top 15 in terms of passenger traffic.
