China Broadcasting Network announces 5G service release

China Broadcasting Network Co Ltd, the country's fourth-largest telecom operator, said on Friday that it is scheduled to officially kick off its 5G services on Monday.
The move is expected to intensify competition in the world's largest 5G market by mobile subscribers, and all eyes are on whether its entry will reshape the long-term industry landscape dominated by China's big three telecom carriers, namely China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom.
