GAC Honda's first e:NP model to hit the road

Sino-Japanese joint venture GAC Honda launched its first electric model under its e:NP marque on Monday.
The e:NP1, available in four variants and two mileage options of 420 km and 510 km, is priced from 175,000 yuan to 218,000 yuan after subsidies.
The model is built based on Honda's Architecture F, which is developed exclusively for electric vehicles. Its new design has made it to look more sportier.
It measures 4,388 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width and 1,560 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,610 mm.
It features Honda Connect 3.0 system that offers such functions as voice command and update over-the-air.
The e:NP 1 also sports the DMC, which is capable of facial recognition and monitoring if the driver is fatigue.
GAC Honda said it will launch one electric model a year under the new marque, and its electric car plant will be completed in 2024.
