Huishan district in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, secured 19 projects worth 9 billion yuan ($1.34 billion) from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, on June 1.
That same day, the Wuxi Huishan (Shenzhen) Innovation Center started operating, and the Shenzhen HLC Angel Innovation Investment Fund was inaugurated.
The innovation center will be used to display and release new products, put on roadshows for Huishan companies and bring more high-caliber talent and high-quality projects to the district.
From May 30 to June 1, a delegation from the Huishan district government visited Xiamen, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen to attract investment, and the district also invited Academician Chen Jian of the Chinese Academy of Engineering to help promote the district.
