Chinese carmaker Dongfeng Aeolus started presales of its latest SUV, called Haoji, on Saturday.
Aeolus said it received over 10,000 orders on the same day.
The mid-sized SUV, the first model built on Dongfeng's DSMA platform, is expected to hit the market in the third quarter this year.
The model is available in four variants, with its prices starting from 126,900 yuan to 139,900 yuan.
It measures 4,720 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width and 1,702 mm in height, with its wheelbase extending for 2,825 mm.
The hybrid version features the MHD system, with its maximum output reaching 180 kW and top torque hitting 540 Nm.
The gasoline version sports a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, which generates a maximum output of 150 kW and a top torque of 305 Nm.
The model sports Aeolus' latest-generation WindLink system that is among other things capable of voice command. It boasts also 27 advanced driving-assist functions.
