Since the beginning of this year, Hechi has coordinated its COVID-19 pandemic prevention and economic development efforts, providing services to ensure the development of its tertiary industry.
Focusing on its goals and tasks for the second quarter of the year, the city has organized a service group to conduct visits and research activities in the service industry in 11 counties and districts. The group has clarified development ideas for enterprises and effectively solved issues that enterprises were facing.
The transportation industry is one of the important indicators supporting the development of the tertiary industry. Affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the traffic volume of its transportation industry has grown slowly. In response, the city has established a comprehensive logistics guarantee mechanism to ensure the smooth passage of trucks at various pandemic prevention checkpoints. At the same time, the city further optimized the approval service, as well as guided road transport operators and practitioners to apply for the Guangxi road transport electronic licenses. To date, nearly 5,000 road transport operators and practitioners have applied for electronic road transport licenses.
The city has also accelerated the construction of service industry projects. Currently, the construction of projects like the Danquan high-end liquor base, the China-ASEAN (Bama) big data cloud computing base, and the Nandan county business big data storage cold chain logistics project are in full swing. The city has also worked to solve problems which were encountered during project construction to ensure that the projects are completed and put into use on schedule, as well as to promote high-quality economic development.
