China (Fuzhou) International Seafood & Fisheries Expo

The 2022 China (Fuzhou) International Seafood & Fisheries Expo was held from June 10 to 12 at the Fuzhou Strait International Conference & Exhibition Center in Fuzhou, Fujian province.

This year marks the 14th year the expo has been held in Fuzhou. It has become an important part of the domestic fishery industry and trade, and a support for the developing fishery economy in Fujian.

Three hundred and twelve enterprises from 13 provinces and regions attended the event, with exhibitors from other provinces accounting for more than 40 percent.

The exhibits included fresh and frozen aquatic products, seafood ingredients, seafood condiment, aquaculture technology, aquatic product processing, intelligent fishery displays, packaging, aquaculture feed and fishing equipment.

Fifteen key projects were signed at the expo, with a total value of 22.091 billion yuan ($3.29 billion). The on-site retail sales achieved 91.38 million yuan and the number of purchasers reached 15,362.

Some tailored events were held at the expo, the Modern Aquatic Seed Industry Revitalization Forum, the 4th China Fishery and Fishing Village Development and Revitalization Forum, and the 3rd Fujian Catering Innovation and Development Forum among them.

The expo will continue to improve in quality and promote exchanges in the fishery industry.
