The 500 major enterprises in Northeast China's Jilin province have all resumed work and production, according to a press conference held on Tuesday.
Out of 3,207 industrial enterprises above a certain scale in the province, 93 percent have resumed work and production. In the meanwhile, the resumption rate of medical and health enterprises in the province has reached 86.7 percent.
A total of 502 enterprises, including those under the China FAW Group and auto parts suppliers, have resumed work. The China FAW Group is the pillar enterprise of Jilin and an important part of domestic and global automotive industrial chains.
As of Monday, FAW had a total of 37,600 employees at their post.
On Monday, Jilin province reported 88 locally-transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases. A total of 553 COVID-19 patients in the province were discharged from hospitals after recovery on the same day, the National Health Commission said in its report on Tuesday.
