The eleventh Central China International Auto Expo kicked off on June 10 in Zhengzhou, Henan province, with an exhibition area covering about 50,000 sq meters and more than 50 vehicle brands from home and abroad on display.
The expo, gathering nearly 1,000 models of luxury cars, fuel cars and new energy vehicles, aimed to shore up confidence in auto economy and inject a strong impetus to the car market in Central China.
Zhengzhou government also issued around 200 million yuan ($29.6 million) in consumption vouchers for purchasing cars, ranging from 3,000 yuan to 8,000 yuan.
