The National Center for AIDS/STD Control and Prevention at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC) held a seminar on formulating HIV/AIDS prevention guidelines on May 6, 2022.
Experts from disease control centers including the Beijing CDC and the Tianjin CDC as well as those from Sun Yat-sen University, Beijing You'an Hospital and the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, attended the seminar online.
At the seminar, the participants discussed the framework and content of the guidelines based on different characteristics of the general public evidenced in families, enterprises and hospitals.
The National Center for AIDS/STD Control and Prevention has formulated HIV/AIDS Prevention Guidelines for Campuses and HIV/AIDS Prevention Guidelines for Communities, which were developed and issued nationwide in 2021.
In 2022, the National Center for AIDS/STD Control and Prevention of the China CDC will further develop three other guidelines: HIV/AIDS Prevention Guidelines for Families, HIV/AIDS Prevention Guidelines for Enterprises and HIV/AIDS Prevention Guidelines for Hospitals.
