A Time for Everything brings together paintings, sculptures, installations and photos by 41 noted contemporary artists at home and abroad. It reviews the evolution of Chinese contemporary art over the past four decades while providing an international reference for the audience to understand the influence of global art development. The exhibition running through June 26 opens the Ui Art Center, a new museum arising from the scenic Yangcheng Lake in Suzhou, Jiangsu province.
Curated by Hao Qingsong, the exhibition shows some rarely-seen works created by noticeable figures, such as Ding Fang, Yang Feiyun and Meng Luding, in the 1980s. Another highlight at the show is a 12-meter-long painting done by Liu Yaming.
