Wennan town in Xintai, Tai'an, Shandong province, which includes various communities and neighborhoods as well as a large and diverse population, has been carrying out mapping work to record residents' information in order to execute epidemic prevention and control work.
Wennan town officials, grid members, and volunteers begin their work early every morning by visiting each household and gathering information about the household and personal information.
In 86 village communities and 25 neighborhoods in Wennan town, grid-screening management was carried out, which included one visit to each household, two phone calls and WeChat checks, three categories of demographic information, and five e-documents.
The careful epidemic prevention and control work is paying off. Wennan town received a letter of thanks from a student who used to study abroad in Japan and received help and care from officials in the town during the whole process of returning back to China and following through with quarantine protocols.
