The 2022 Wuhan scientific achievement transfer meeting (optoelectronic information section) was held on May 19 in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China (OVC)). Agreements for 21 projects from Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Wuhan University of Technolgy (WUT) with a total contract amount of 110 million yuan ($16.41 million) were signed during the event.
Doctor Leng Guanghui, who graduated from WUT and pursued further studies at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and University of Birmingham, established Wuhan Guohui Intelligent Energy Technology Co, which will commercialize a ceramic material for energy storage project and a clean energy equipment system project from WUT.
The meeting was the second of its kind to be held in Wuhan this year.
