SND excels in city construction

Suzhou New District in East China's Jiangsu province held a promotional event for 26 projects on May 6, local media outlets reported.

With a total of 26.3 billion yuan ($3.92 billion) in investment, the projects involve fields such as transportation, water resources, environmental protection, science and education, 5G networks, and smart city development. Around 5.7 billion yuan will be  invested within the year.

Some of the projects, such as the Taihu Lake Science and Technology Town, Nanjing University Suzhou Campus, and the S230 provincial highway reconstruction, reflect SND's ambition to better integrate with the Yangtze River Delta region.

For example, the Taihu Lake Science and Technology Town, which covers a total area of 105 square kilometers, will feature a number of major scientific and technological infrastructure facilities and cutting-edge cross-platforms to attract high-caliber research institutes, research and development platforms, enterprises and scientists.
