Ora starts to take orders for Haomao's Morandi version

Great Wall Motors' electric arm Ora has started to take orders for the Morandi version of its Good Cat, or Haomao, model.

The version's post-subsidy price is from 141,000 yuan to 171,000 yuan. Among other things, Ora said it features the exterior and interior in the Morandi colors.

Morandi colors refer to a muted and pale color palette, which has rich connotation without a tendency to show off, releasing the soothing elegance.

Also, Level 2 functions including the Adaptive Cruise Control and Front Collision Warning come standard across all its variants.

Ora launched the Haomao model in late November 2020. Its sales totaled 50,931 units in 2021.

Its deliveries in the first four months this year totaled 21007 units, up 200.3 percent from the same period last year despite the COVID and the ongoing chip shortages.

Ora said over 90 percent of the model’s buyers are female.
