Taste authentic Chinese cuisine along the Grand Canal
Connecting Beijing in the north to Zhejiang province in the south, the Grand Canal has been running for more than 2,000 years. As a UNESCO world heritage site, it not only contributes to economic development but has also brought a bumper harvest of crops in areas along the canal.
In the short video series "Grand Canal Taking You Home", Italian chef Nino, who has been living in China for many years, assists Chen, editor of food magazine Gourmet, in writing a feature story on "The Taste of Home". They visit Chen's family along the canal to experience different Chinese flavors.
