Glimpse

Glimpse is the name of this short documentary I made. This video was made of footage I took during my stay in China for around 14 months, and it took around 3 months to edit. This video represents for me the happiest most memorable moments from my stay, yet it is only a GLIMPSE of what I fully experienced as a foreigner and specifically as a student at Anhui Medical University, I tried to capture and convey the broad spectrum of aspects I witnessed and personally fell in love with China.

China has many dynasties and various cultural traditions. I also tried to capture the unique architecture from modern buildings to classic traditional Chinese buildings. I also was astonished by the Chinese cuisine and its variety of dishes.

My favorite food to eat is Jiaozi. And lastly, my favorite part about my stay in China was the people, Chinese, and foreigners I met there. Chinese were very welcoming to us foreigners and friendly after we landed. I especially felt their immense hospitability when we traveled to some suburbs around Hefei, such as Sanhe. I hope you enjoy this video as I enjoyed experiencing these moments and then permanently encapsulating them.
