Jianmenguan, a national 5A-level scenic area in Jiange county, Guangyuan, Southwest China's Sichuan province, rolled out a 99-yuan ($14.85) ticket package to spur consumption during the May Day holiday.
Holding a carnet, travelers can treat themselves to four major attractions: Jianmen Pass, Cuiyun Corridor, Shuangqimei Village and "Jianmen Long Song" light show.
At Jianmen Pass, tourists can enjoy intangible cultural heritage folk performances and various activities of Guochao style, representing the rise of homegrown brands.
In addition to hiking during the day, tourists can watch a live-action cliff light show, the first of its kind in China, in the evening. Offering IMAX experience under the stars, the show introduces the historical figures related to Jianmen Pass, allowing the audience to better understand the Shu Road culture of over 1,000 years.
The Cuiyun Corridor is also a popular view of tens of thousands of green cypresses. Visitors are able to have a breath of fresh air full of negative oxygen ions there.
Farming, catering and homestay accommodations are booming in Shuangqimei Village at the foot of Jianshan Mountain. The village launched a mountain camping activity featuring the beautiful scenery of flowers, attracting lots of tourists.
