The General Office of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region issued guidance on supporting Hechi build a green development pilot zone, proposing that Hechi to carry out demonstration actions for the green upgrading of infrastructure.
In terms of improving green energy capacity, Hechi will accelerate the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy system, stabilize the power generation of the three major hydropower stations in the Hongshui River, as well as make overall plans for the construction of hydropower, wind power, photovoltaic, and cogeneration stations.
To construct a convenient and comprehensive transportation network, it will speed up the construction of the Hechi, Huanjiang, and Du'an high-speed railway stations and networks, as well as build a railway from Liuzhou to Baise via Hechi. It will also accelerate the construction of the Chehe branch line of the Hechi Land Port Bonded Logistics Center, accelerate the construction of expressways from Nandan to Xialao and Tian'e to Beihai, as well as carry out the upgrading project of the Hongshui River waterway and build Yizhou district into a strong traffic pilot area.
The city will also implement digital infrastructure construction projects, as well as accelerate the coverage of 5G networks in urban areas, industrial parks, and mines. It will accelerate the construction of the China-ASEAN (Bama) Big Data Cloud Computing Base and build the Hechi College Cloud network. Digital water conservancy, smart transportation, smart logistics, smart buildings, and smart construction site projects will also be promoted. In addition, the city aims to build 6,000 5G base stations by 2025
The city will accelerate the integration of Jinchengjiang and Yizhou districts, as well as support Nandan, Bama, and Du'an in constructing a sub-central city. It will also carry out in-depth improvement of the rural living environment and improve rural public infrastructure.
