The 300,000th pickup that bears Great Wall Motors’ Poer marque rolled off the assembly line on Sunday.
It took the brand 32 months to reach the milestone, said the carmaker, who said Poer is the first premium Chinese pickup brand to hit the number.
Poer is part of Great Wall Motors’ globalization strategy. Poer pickups are now available in over 50 countries and regions across the world.
Great Wall Motors said Poer will focus on both the segments of passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles.
The passenger vehicle pickups will be based on the Tank platform and be available in mid-sized, large and full-sized ones, and those for commercial use will be in compact and mid-sized ones.
Poer will also roll out hybrid, electric and hydrogen-powered pickups, said the carmaker.
