Hechi has unique and advantageous climate conditions for developing green industries and the ecological economy. The city's forest coverage rate is as high as 71.32 percent, ranking at the forefront of the autonomous region.
The guiding opinions are divided into three sections, with 31 specific opinions. The first section is the major goal, which includes a short-term goal of making significant progress in the pilot zone by 2025 and establishing an industrial system for green, low-carbon, and circular development.
The second section contains the main tasks, which primarily consist of six demonstration actions: the first is promoting industrial ecological development, the second is green infrastructure upgrading, the third is green consumption and life, the fourth is carbon neutralization, the fifth is green financial reform, and the sixth is the construction of ecological civilization.
The third section is to strengthen policy support and guarantees to build the green development pilot zone.
The guiding opinions will boost Hechi to utilize its ecological advantages, promote green transformation of Hechi's economic and social development, and create a Hechi model for the construction of a strong ecological civilization area in Guangxi.
