Guiyang, Guian to improve convenience for daily lives of residents

Guiyang and Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province will begin construction on 67 15-minute life circles this year, with work already having begun on 1,624 of the total 1,685 projects.

From 2021 to 2023, Guiyang and Guian plan to renovate 8.27 million square meters of 119,000 houses in old residential communities. Renovation will begin after consultation with local residents.

In 2022, Guiyang and Guian will add at least 25,000 public parking spots, with construction already having begun on 70 specific projects.

Guiyang and Guian will also renovate and upgrade 49 farmers' markets and construct four new farmers' markets. The renovation and construction will adhere to the concept of "guided by government, operated by markets, participated in by the public".

Guiyang and Guian will supervise project construction to ensure their success after being put into operation. Meanwhile, Guiyang and Guian will encourage the public to offer opinions and advise throughout the process.
