Chinese carmaker SAIC Maxus has launched the G90 as part of its efforts to explore the booming MPV market.
The G90 model, available in six-seat and seven-seat versions, has five variants, priced from 219,900 yuan ($33,271) to 329,900 yuan.
Statistics from the China Passenger Car Association show that MPV sales in China in the first quarter this year totaled 206,000 units, down 7.7 percent year-on-year.
However, those priced over 200,000 yuan saw their deliveries soared 11.1 percent to 102,000 units.
The G90 sports a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, a 48-volt hybrid system and an eight-speed transmission, generating a top torque of 390 Nm.
In terms of smart features, it has 12 sensors as well as chips with 12 TOPS, offering Level 2 driving-assist functions.
Other features including the digital dashboard, the touchscreen display as well as the head-up display.
