​Jinan to host cultural activities for Culture City of East Asia

The opening ceremony for the "2022 Culture City of East Asia · Jinan" event will be held in Jinan, Shandong province on April 26. The event will host more than 100 cultural exchange activities featuring conferences, forums, exhibitions, performances, competitions, festivals, and food.

The event not only has large-scale cultural activities such as the China International Cultural Tourism Fair Expo, China Acrobatic Exhibition, and the Jinan International Biennale, but also includes international cultural exchange activities such as the International Forum on the Development of East Asian Cultural Cities.

The logo design and slogan for the "2022 Culture City of East Asia · Jinan" event were recently unveiled, which will be widely used in various activities for the Culture City of East Asia celebration.

The Culture City of East Asia is codeveloped by China, Japan, and South Korea, and is an international event for naming cultural cities. It is an important platform for cultural exchanges among the three countries and also a major event to implement the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations and foster an Asian community with a shared future. Jinan was honored the title of the 2022 Culture City of East Asia on Aug 30, 2021.
