​Jinan Day of China Pavilion to be held at Dubai expo

The "Shandong Week Jinan Day" will kick off at the China Pavilion on March 23 during the ongoing Expo 2020 Dubai in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. Due to the pandemic, the event will be held online.

The event will display Jinan's featured sceneries, which include mountains, springs, lakes, and rivers, to the rest of the globe, as well as the city's image as a modern international metropolis.

Jinan hopes to strengthen trade and cultural ties with Middle East countries as well as promote its key national policy for environmental conservation and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin during the event.

A Jinan promotional video will be broadcast to help more locals get to know Jinan's culture and economy. A series of activities focusing on culture, economy and trade will also be held.

The World Exposition is the world's largest and most important international exhibition. It is a major forum for showcasing worldwide economic and social development achievements as well as expanding international exchanges. The theme of Expo 2020 Dubai, which opened on Oct 1, 2021, is "Communicating Ideas, Creating the Future".
