On April 25, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 1,923 new cases of confirmed infections (15 imported cases, 4 in Guangdong province, 4 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 3 in Fujian province, 2 in Jiangxi province, 1 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region and 1 in Shandong province, including 1 confirmed case converting from an asymptomatic case in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region; 1,908 indigenous cases, 1,661 in Shanghai municipality, 91 in Jiangxi province, 44 in Jilin province, 32 in Beijing municipality, 25 in Liaoning province, 18 in Heilongjiang province, 8 in Zhejiang province, 8 in Henan province, 6 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 2 in Hebei province, 2 in Shanxi province, 2 in Jiangsu province, 2 in Shandong province, 2 in Hunan province, 2 in Guangdong province, 1 in Anhui province, 1 in Sichuan province and 1 in Qinghai province, including 995 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 968 in Shanghai municipality, 19 in Jilin province, 4 in Zhejiang province, 1 in Beijing municipality, 1 in Shanxi province, 1 in Anhui province and 1 in Guangdong province), 52 deaths (all were indigenous cases in Shanghai municipality), and no new cases of suspected infections.

On April 25, 2,323 patients were released from hospital after being cured (22 imported cases; 2,301 indigenous cases, 1,941 in Shanghai municipality, 276 in Jilin province, 24 in Guangdong province, 15 in Zhejiang province, 7 in Shandong province, 6 in Heilongjiang province, 5 in Jiangsu province, 5 in Hainan province, 4 in Jiangxi province, 3 in Hebei province, 3 in Sichuan province, 2 in Shaanxi province, 2 in Qinghai province, 1 in Shanxi province, 1 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 1 in Liaoning province, 1 in Anhui province, 1 in Fujian province, 1 in Henan province, 1 in Hunan province and 1 in Yunnan province). 46,493 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases increased by 67.

As of 24:00 on April 25, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 18,135 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 17,932 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 203 confirmed cases (no serious cases) and 2 suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on April 25, the National Health Commission had received reports of 205,257 confirmed cases and 4,828 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 171,703 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 28,726 confirmed cases (including 341 cases in serious condition) and 2 suspected cases. 3,200,005 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 426,511 were still under medical observation.

On April 25, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 15,889 new asymptomatic cases (73 imported cases; 15,816 indigenous cases, 15,319 in Shanghai municipality, 112 in Jiangsu province, 101 in Jilin province, 62 in Shandong province, 49 in Hebei province, 46 in Jiangxi province, 39 in Liaoning province, 34 in Zhejiang province, 18 in Heilongjiang province, 10 in Anhui province, 9 in Henan province, 6 in Yunnan province, 3 in Hubei province, 2 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 2 in Sichuan province, 1 in Beijing municipality and 1 in Qinghai province).

On April 25, 14,097 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (88 imported cases; 14,009 indigenous cases, 12,871 in Shanghai municipality, 745 in Jilin province, 58 in Shandong province, 57 in Hebei province, 48 in Jiangsu province, 36 in Hubei province, 33 in Liaoning province, 30 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 25 in Henan province, 24 in Anhui province, 16 in Yunnan province, 15 in Fujian province, 12 in Guangdong province, 8 in Zhejiang province, 7 in Shanxi province, 7 in Jiangxi province, 6 in Qinghai province, 3 in Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, 2 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 2 in Sichuan province, 2 in Shaanxi province, 1 in Tianjin municipality and 1 in Heilongjiang province). 996 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 1 imported case). As of 24:00 on April 25, 246,139 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 596 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on April 25, 391,033 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 329,265 in Hong Kong (9,267 had died and 69,119 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 82 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 61,686 in Taiwan (856 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
