Eight foreign expats in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province, visited the beautiful countryside together with local residents on Friday to listen to the stories of entrepreneurs and their shared prosperity in the tea business.
The area planted with tea in Keqiao district reached 4,600 hectares last year, with total output of 6,635 tons of tea valued at 463.2 million yuan ($71.38 million).
"My original intention was for tea to help the villagers get rich together," said Tang Shuiliang, general manager of Keqiao Qinwang Tea Industry Co.
Fang Xiaoying in Hangzhou contributed to this story.
