Sites for business operation reopen in Wuxi

The sites for business operation in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, reopened on April 20 after 20 days of suspension due to the epidemic prevention and control.

From April 20, taxi and online car-hailing services in urban areas will resume. All taxi companies and online car-hailing service providers shall strictly regulate vehicle operation. The driver shall take 1 nucleic acid testing for every two days, wear a mask, post the "Doorbell Code" as required and disinfect the vehicle. To take taxi (including online car-hailing), passengers must properly wear masks, scan the "Doorbell Code" and present codes to the driver.

From April 20, retail pharmacies will resume sales of "four categories" of epidemic monitoring drugs such as "antipyretic, cough relieving, antiviral and antibiotics" (including online sales). All pharmacies should strictly implement the real-name purchase registration system, and those who find people with abnormal symptoms such as fever should immediately report it to the local Covid-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters.

From April 20, indoor cultural venues such as urban cultural centers, museums and libraries, indoor sports and fitness venues such as gyms and natatoriums will reopen, and all kinds of catering places will open in an orderly manner according to the approved capacity of no more than 50 percent. Internet cafes, bars, public bathrooms, KTVs, ballrooms, movie theaters, and game halls will remain closed, and chess and card rooms and mahjong halls will continue to be closed.

Before the resumption of business, cleaning, ventilation, and disinfection in all kinds of business places shall be strengthened, and health and epidemic prevention supervisors and staff special assigned for disinfection shall be designated as required. All staff must hold the negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours and complete two shots of Covid-19 vaccine before taking up their posts, and take nucleic acid test for every two days.

All kinds of businesses must apply for their own "Doorbell Code" and post it in an eye-catching position. Special personnel shall be arranged to strictly implement the prevention and control measures such as taking temperature, wearing masks, scanning the "Doorbell Code" and checking the itinerary card, so as to leave no one unscanned.
