On April 13, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 3,020 new cases of confirmed infections (21 imported cases, 6 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 5 in Sichuan province, 4 in Fujian province, 3 in Yunnan province, 1 in Beijing municipality, 1 in Jiangsu province and 1 in Guangdong province, including 3 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 2 in Sichuan province and 1 in Fujian province; 2,999 indigenous cases, 2,573 in Shanghai municipality, 325 in Jilin province, 47 in Guangdong province, 9 in Zhejiang province, 9 in Fujian province, 7 in Heilongjiang province, 4 in Shanxi province, 4 in Henan province, 3 in Jiangsu province, 3 in Hainan province, 3 in Yunnan province, 2 in Hebei province, 2 in Anhui province, 2 in Shaanxi province, 2 in Qinghai province, 1 in Beijing municipality, 1 in Liaoning province, 1 in Jiangxi province and 1 in Shandong province, including 344 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 214 in Jilin province, 114 in Shanghai municipality, 6 in Fujian province, 4 in Zhejiang province, 3 in Hainan province, 2 in Guangdong province and 1 in Hebei province), no new cases of suspected infections, and no deaths.

On April 13, 2,024 patients were released from hospital after being cured (27 imported cases; 1,997 indigenous cases, 1,105 in Jilin province, 737 in Shanghai municipality, 36 in Fujian province, 25 in Heilongjiang province, 19 in Shandong province, 15 in Liaoning province, 8 in Anhui province, 8 in Guangdong province, 7 in Tianjin municipality, 6 in Zhejiang province, 4 in Hebei province, 4 in Shanxi province, 4 in Jiangsu province, 4 in Jiangxi province, 3 in Beijing municipality, 3 in Hunan province, 3 in Shaanxi province, 2 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 1 in Hainan province, 1 in Chongqing municipality, 1 in Sichuan province and 1 in Gansu province). 37,636 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases decreased by 9.

As of 24:00 on April 13, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 17,936 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 17,628 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 308 confirmed cases (no serious cases) and 15 suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on April 13, the National Health Commission had received reports of 171,382 confirmed cases and 4,638 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 143,922 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 22,822 confirmed cases (including 78 cases in serious condition) and 15 suspected cases. 2,769,034 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 444,823 were still under medical observation.

On April 13, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 26,391 new asymptomatic cases (73 imported cases; 26,318 indigenous cases, 25,146 in Shanghai municipality, 674 in Jilin province, 129 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 50 in Jiangsu province, 48 in Anhui province, 42 in Henan province, 42 in Hubei province, 32 in Liaoning province, 30 in Hebei province, 28 in Shandong province, 21 in Guangdong province, 20 in Jiangxi province, 15 in Fujian province, 12 in Qinghai province, 10 in Zhejiang province, 7 in Yunnan province, 4 in Shanxi province, 3 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 2 in Heilongjiang province, 2 in Shaanxi province and 1 in Chongqing municipality).

On April 13, 18,188 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (107 imported cases; 18,081 indigenous cases, 15,406 in Shanghai municipality, 1,937 in Jilin province, 154 in Fujian province, 127 in Hebei province, 115 in Anhui province, 102 in Liaoning province, 64 in Shandong province, 39 in Jiangsu province, 38 in Jiangxi province, 20 in Guangdong province, 15 in Gansu province, 13 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 12 in Tianjin municipality, 11 in Heilongjiang province, 7 in Hubei province, 7 in Yunnan province, 3 in Zhejiang province, 3 in Henan province, 2 in Hunan province, 2 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 1 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 1 in Chongqing municipality, 1 in Sichuan province and 1 in Guizhou province). 347 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 3 imported cases). As of 24:00 on April 13, 266,230 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 844 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on April 13, 338,442 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 308,767 in Hong Kong (8,948 had died and 62,204 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 82 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 29,593 in Taiwan (854 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
