Hechi holds Sanyuesan cultural tourism consumer activities

On April 3, the launching ceremony for the Hechi branch of the 2022 Guangxi Sanyuesan Festival cultural tourism consumer event was held in Damou town, Dahua Yao autonomous county.

The event is intended to display the charm of Hechi's national culture, promote economic and social development, and boost national unity and progress.

Due to the need for COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control, this year's Sanyuesan activities in Hechi are being carried out both online and onsite. The online activities include ethnic cultural performances, broadcasting folk song videos, and folk knowledge quizzes.

In addition, 11 counties and districts in the city will carry out a month-long offline activity to display Hechi's ethnic customs and cultural features. These activities are composed of folk song performances, folk customs exhibitions, literary collections and creations, a literary and artistic works competition, a themed painting and calligraphy art exhibition, and Zhuang cuisine tasting. The event is expected to provide a cultural feast of ethnic minorities' way of living during the festival.

Among them, the folk song performances include the Zhuang's Sanyuesan folk song festivals in Yizhou district and in Tian'e county. The folk customs performances include Nandan Baiku Yao's national sports exhibition and Luocheng Mulam's customs show.
